1. General/Medium Temperature (≤380℃, small and medium tonnage)
- Alkylaryl-modified, good lubricity, suitable for post-coating.
- Long-chain alkylaryl, balanced heat resistance and release performance.
- Methyl silicone oil (QL-200 350–1000 cSt): Low cost, for simple parts with low requirements.
2. High Temperature/Heavy Tonnage (≥400℃, 800T+)
- High phenyl content, heat resistance >450℃.
- Reactive modified, no carbonization at 450℃.
- Phenyl/alkylaryl, non-coking.
- Heat-resistant, no impact on post-treatment.
Key Selection Points
- Heat resistance: Choose alkylaryl/phenyl-modified when mold temperature >380℃.
- Carbon deposition: High-purity modified silicone oil is preferred.
- Lubrication/release: High-viscosity alkylaryl for complex parts.
- Post-coating: Low-residue grades.
- Water-based/oil-based: Emulsions for water-based, pure silicone oil for oil-based.
Recommendations
- Small & medium tonnage
- High temperature & heavy tonnage
- Cost-sensitive: High-viscosity methyl silicone oil (350–1000 cSt) + emulsifier.
