For cleaning spinning heads, low‑viscosity, medium‑low amine value, easily emulsifiable, easily washable, and high‑temperature resistant amino silicone oils are preferred. Qiangli Chemical offers several suitable amino silicone oils, which should be selected based on your cleaning process and spinning system.
  1. Key Performance Requirements
  • Viscosity: 500–3000 mPa·s at 25℃, good fluidity, easy penetration, no residue after cleaning.
  • Amine value: 0.2–0.6 mmol/g, moderate adsorption, easy to remove, less coking.
  • Structure: Preferably di‑amino‑terminated / mono‑amino‑terminated, methyl‑capped, high thermal stability, low yellowing.
  • Emulsifiability: Easily forms stable microemulsions for spraying or circulating cleaning.
  • Thermal stability: Resistant to 200–280℃ during spinning head cleaning, low decomposition, no insoluble residues.
  1. Recommended Grades from Qiangli Chemical
  • QL‑2211: Nitrogen content 0.21%, suitable for conventional off‑line cleaning.
  • QL‑2251: Medium amine value, good thermal stability, suitable for on‑line circulating cleaning.
  • QL‑2252: Low viscosity and low amine value, suitable for fine and multi‑hole spinning heads.
  1. Application Suggestions
  • Off‑line cleaning: Soak or spray at 80–120℃ for 1–3 hours, then rinse with hot water.
  • On‑line cleaning: Compound with ethylene glycol / diethylene glycol, circulate at 220–260℃ for 2–4 hours.
  • Note: Thorough rinsing is required after cleaning to avoid filament breakage and fluff caused by residues.
