PDMS base adhesive mainly uses vinyl-terminated silicone oil for addition-cured systems, or hydroxyl silicone oil (107 silicone rubber) for condensation-cured systems, together with crosslinking agents, catalysts and fillers.
  1. Addition-cured system
Main raw material: vinyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (Vi-PDMS)
    Viscosity: 500–10,000 mPa·s at 25°C
Matching materials: hydrosilicone oil (crosslinking agent) and platinum catalyst.
  2. Condensation-cured system
Main raw material: α,ω-dihydroxyl polydimethylsiloxane (107 hydroxyl silicone oil)
    Viscosity: 1,000–100,000 mPa·s
Matching materials: ethyl silicate, methyltriethoxysilane (crosslinking agents) and organotin catalysts.
  3. Selection suggestions
For transparent, high-strength electronic potting or medical use, choose vinyl-terminated silicone oil (1,000–5,000 mPa·s).

For room-temperature curing molds or sealants, choose hydroxyl silicone oil (5,000–50,000 mPa·s).
